Micro-Communities at The Church @ New Bern

We believe family is the key to building a successful and thriving culture at The Church @ New Bern. Just like a family, we all have things we do to help everyone be successful. We would love to have you as part of our community! If you are interested in getting involved with any of these micro-communities at The Church @ New Bern, please read the descriptions below and contact the leaders listed.

FEED CRAVEN FOOD PANTRY

The mission at Feed Craven is to bless others and serve our community without judgment. Our goal is to simply love everyone with the unconditional love of Jesus Christ. It is our joy to love on those in our community who are in need via our food pantry (which is associated with the Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC).

We operate every second and fourth Friday of each month.

BELOVED Women's COMMUNITY

God's desire is for women to honor the gifts inside each other and lift one another up as we grow into those gifts. Whether you are a young woman or a beautifully aged woman, we want to grow with you. We want you to develop those gifts, so that you begin to know who you are and what you are carrying. God wants these wonderful gifts to be released only by you!

You can join us in our Share & Care Women’s Group, annual Women’s Retreats, and other special gatherings.

Our Share & Care Women’s MORE Group will meet in Fall 2022 on 10/4, 10/17, 11/14, 11/28, and 12/12.

NEW BERN SCHOOL OF SUPERNATURAL MINISTRY

The mission of the New Bern School of Supernatural Ministry (NBSSM) is to pursue the more of God. NBSSM emphasizes the ministry of the Holy Spirit and aims to lead students to be transformed by the Spirit in the first year and in the second year to guide students to be dependent on the Spirit in every area of their life.

The learning style of the school is weekly hands-on training, activations, and impartation in class along with affirming assignments during the week. This creates a do-and-teach culture where all of the students are expected to take risks to stretch their faith and grow in their relationship with Father, Son, and Spirit.

PROPHECY/SATURDAY PRAYER FURNACE

The prayer furnace is a merging of three micro-communities at TC@NB - prophecy, intercession, and worship. The goal is to be a blessing to New Bern and the surrounding region. We gather to flow with what the Holy Spirit is doing and follow His leading as revealed to anyone that is attending.

This group is facilitated by leaders who have a heart for the corporate pursuit of the voice of God. Each night will be different! We welcome the participation of other believers in the city. Come help us keep a prayer furnace stoked in our community and region.

Worship Arts

Our vision as the Worship Community is to go after the MORE of God in worship. We enter into the holy place through Jesus and offer the praise that He deserves.

We are a community of skilled musicians, sound technicians, and songwriters. We each come expecting, with a mindset that we are going to encounter God.

We welcome the Holy Spirit into every one of our corporate gatherings or conferences. This creates an atmosphere where God can reveal Himself and move supernaturally.  These encounters with God empower us in a lifestyle of worship that impacts the local church and the nations.

Life Transformation Center | Inner Healing Ministry | Sozo

Life Transformation Center (LTC) is founded on the principle that you are, first of all, vessels created in the image of God, and are in the process of being formed into the likeness of Christ; body, soul, and spirit.

The purpose of the LTC is to facilitate healing in every area of life that has been traumatized and bring wholeness through a restored relationship with the Lord.

KINGDOM KIDS

We believe that God is in a good mood and that children are naturally drawn to God as a loving Father.  All children were created by their adoring and loving God who wants them to share in His joy and presence. He desires that His kids know, hear, and see Him.

We are honored that God entrusts us with some of the deepest treasures He holds in His heart.

Kingdom Kids is a gathering of children where they can explore their gifts, follow the leading of the Holy Spirit, grow in their knowledge of the Word of God, and learn to pursue God with all their hearts.

Intercession

Our Intercession Community is dedicated to praying and interceding for friends, family, our church, our local community, our nation, the global church, the lost, the afflicted, the oppressed, and the hurting.

We gather regularly to pray and worship together, and we invite you to join us.

PARENTS NIGHT OUT

We serve our local community with "Parents Night Out." Children can enjoy an evening of fun activities, games, and crafts while their parents get a night to enjoy on their own. This is an opportunity for us to get to know parents and children in our community.

We look forward to providing parents and caregivers with a relaxing evening. It is an honor to work together to serve others in a practical and fun way.
