 Welcome to Parents Night Out!

The Church @ New Bern would love to serve our local community with a "Parents Night Out." Children will enjoy an evening of fun activities, games, and crafts while their parents get a night to enjoy on their own. Thank you for this opportunity to get to know you and your child. We look forward to providing you with a relaxing evening. We are honored to serve you and your family.

Injury

We provide a variety of activities during our event, including some that require physical exertion. While we will take all necessary precautions, accidents do happen. If your child has an injury that requires more than a hug or a Band Aid, we will give you a full report of the event. In case of a more serious injury requiring immediate medical attention, you will be called immediately.

Medication

Please be sure your child has all the necessary medications prior to dropping them off for the evening. No medication will be given during Parents Night Out. Our volunteers will only perform CPR and First Aid in cases of emergency.

If your child has a special need, please let us know on the registration form.

Discipline

Discipline must be individualized and consistent for each child, age appropriate, and directed towards teaching the child acceptable behavior and self-control.

During Parents Night Out events, we will only use positive methods of discipline. If extreme inappropriate behavior is exhibited, the parent or legal guardian will be called.

Safety

For your child's safety, all our Parents Night Out volunteers are required to fill out an application and agree to a background check. There will be volunteers present who are trained in CPR and First Aid in case the need arises.
