How to Unlock the Power of Hope in Your life

The Bible is full to the brim with declarations that can increase hope in your life. Hope is not something that changes with the wind. It is an assurance from God that we are well cared for and fully loved by a creator that values family and fatherhood in our lives. Often times we see people lost hope after fighting a battle for a long time, encountering a situation that seems to have no good resolution, or losing a loved one. Here is a list of declarations and the verses they are based upon, all listed in the ESV version.

I feel secure in the hope God gives me.

And you will feel secure, because there is hope; you will look around and take your rest in security. Job 11:18

Hope will sprout again for me, even when I feel cut down.

For there is hope for a tree, if it be cut down, that it will sprout again, and that its shoots will not cease. Job 14:7

I place my hope in God’s steadfast love.

Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in you. Psalm 33:22

Hope builds Christlike character in me.
